Ghislaine & Jean-Hugues Goisot, 2014 Bourgogne, Côtes d'Auxerre
This “entry level” Bourgogne Rouge continues to blow us away with its purity and depth. Produced from the younger vines of the domaine, this is a brilliant expression of Goisot’s vineyard work, where the terroir is literally brought to the surface and melded with the well tended fruit.
An intriguing nose of cherry pie with laced with some leather and spice. Supple tannins follow with excellent minerality. Delicious, but only 20 cs available for the west coast!!
